Saturday July 31 11.00am - 4.00pm Baylis Street to Bolton Park, Wagga Wagga Exercising the right of Freedom of Entry to the City of Wagga Wagga with personnel from the RAAF Base celebrating the 70th anniversary of the RAAF Base at Forest Hill. The Air Force has been part of the Wagga Wagga community and Riverina Region since 1940. Join us as we celebrate this occasion with a march through the city followed by displays and activities in Bolton Park. These will include: handling displays by the Military Working Dogs handlers and their dogs, a special visit by the puppies from the canine breeding cell, displays from various sections at RAAF Base Wagga, such as the aviation or aircraft trades as well as the logistics and admin support specialist. "Force 10" from the Air Force Band will treat us to a couple of concerts at 12.30pm and 2.30pm. The special event also acknowledges the reforming of No 31 Squadron during July, whereby the squadron assumes the responsibility for fixed air base support at RAAF Base Wagga, Forest Hill.
